Terms of use
Chameleon is a local music player that lets you access and play the audio files stored on your device. Your library, history, playlists and preferences are stored locally, and the app doesn’t transmit them to external servers.
The music and video files shown in Chameleon are on your device. When you edit their tags, delete them or set a song as a ringtone, the changes apply to the file or to the corresponding phone setting.
Using the app
Chameleon is provided free of charge and as is. Before editing or deleting files, we recommend backing up the ones you want to keep.
Open-source software
Chameleon includes free and open-source software components distributed under the Apache-2.0, LGPL-2.1 and MIT licenses. You can see the list of components and their license texts in the app: Settings › About › Licenses.
